What information we collect when you book, and how we use it.
Last updated: September 9, 2026
When you book an appointment, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, phone number, email address, selected service(s), and appointment date/time. If you contact us for support, we may also keep a record of that communication.
We use your information to schedule and manage your appointment, send confirmations and reminders, respond to questions or support requests, and keep basic records of your visit history so we can serve you better on return visits. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to operating our studio.
We do not sell your personal information. To operate our booking, scheduling, and communications systems, we work with trusted third-party service providers — including Google Calendar (to create and manage your appointment) and Gmail/Google Workspace (to send appointment confirmations and reminders), as well as a text-messaging (SMS) provider. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function (such as creating your appointment or sending you a confirmation) and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
All information submitted through our booking form is transmitted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption. Your booking details are stored in our database, which encrypts data at rest, and in an internal spreadsheet we use for scheduling and record-keeping; direct access to both is limited to the business owner/admin. Staff involved in your appointment see only the details needed to prepare for or fulfill it. The credentials our systems use to connect to Google Calendar and Gmail are stored securely and reviewed periodically; these connections are used solely to create and manage your appointment and send you related communications — never for any purpose unrelated to your booking. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you provide a phone number and/or email when booking, we'll use it to send appointment confirmations, reminders, and related updates. You can opt out of appointment text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us directly to be removed from any communication list.
If you check the separate email marketing box when booking, we'll also send you promotional offers, discounts, and studio updates by email. This is optional and separate from appointment communications — leaving it unchecked has no effect on your booking. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link included in any marketing email.
We retain booking and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal or tax obligations.
Our website may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed) so we can improve it. These tools may use cookies or similar technology. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.
Our website and booking system are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our online booking form. Appointments for children's services are booked by a parent or guardian.
You can contact us at any time to request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or business purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
